Why We Made It
Butter in Pink is a whipped baby body butter for dry, delicate skin, created for babies from 2 to 3 months, children and mothers. Cocoa, shea and mango butters meet a soft vanilla-citrus scent in a silky botanical formula made for gentle, shared body care.
Whipped body butter for dry, delicate skin
Cocoa, shea and mango butters form its deeply moisturizing base, enriched with marshmallow root, evening primrose and tamanu to condition the skin and help replenish its moisture barrier. The formula is whipped for a reason. It stays light, silky and easy to spread, melts on contact, sinks in quickly and leaves the skin soft and smooth rather than greasy. That luxurious feeling on the skin is an intentional part of the formula.
One butter for mother and baby
Butter in Pink was made to be shared by mother and baby. One butter for two bodies means fewer products to reach for, less clutter around you and fewer scents layered between two people who spend so much time close together.
A soft vanilla-citrus body care ritual
Pink has a different sensory intention from some of our other butters. Its soft vanilla-citrus scent, silky texture and slow touch are meant to bring a feeling of warmth and softness to the ritual. It is the butter I reach for when I want body care to feel gentle, close and comforting rather than stimulating.
This is part of the neurosomatic thinking behind Royal Heir skincare. Texture, touch and scent are considered together. With repetition, the familiar scent can become an aromatic anchor connected to this feeling of warmth, softness and care.
Made fresh in small batches and formulated by a former nurse and certified aromatherapist.
How to use
Apply a small amount directly to the skin. A little goes a long way. Always patch test before first use. Created for babies from 2 to 3 months (2 months if full term, 3 months if premature), children and mothers.
More about this formula
- THE DETAILS
Because in the early months, your bodies are rarely separate for long. Butter in Pink was made to care for both of you, from baby’s dry skin and diaper area to the dry, changing skin of early motherhood. One butter means fewer products to reach for, less clutter around you, and fewer scents layered between two bodies that spend so much time close together. That shared scent is intentional. When touch, noise, feeding and everything else begin to feel like a lot, keeping one part of the sensory environment simple matters. Over time, the soft vanilla-citrus scent can become a familiar aromatic anchor woven into the ritual of caring for both of you.
The whipped texture is part of the formula, not just how it looks. It makes the butter light, silky and easy to spread, so there is less drag across the skin. It melts on contact, sinks in quickly and leaves the skin soft and smooth rather than greasy. That feel matters to me. Royal Heir skincare is designed as a sensory experience, so the texture on the skin is considered alongside touch and scent. The softness and slip of the butter are part of what turns a simple skincare step into a more intentional moment of care.
A baby’s sensory world is still developing, and strong fragrance can easily become too much. That is why Butter in Pink is scented very lightly, using only essential oils chosen for babies from about 2 to 3 months and kept within baby-safe dilution levels. Pink was designed to bring warmth and softness to the sensory experience without adding more intensity. The goal is not to perfume the skin. It is to create a gentle scent that can sit quietly between mother and baby while they touch, feed, rest and spend so much of the day close together. With repeated use, that familiar scent can become an aromatic anchor for the ritual, something connected with the feeling of gentle touch, warmth and care.
