Why We Made It
A concentrated facial oil serum with hemp, squalane, meadowfoam and jojoba oils, for dry, tired-looking skin. Scented with sandalwood, sweet orange, vanilla and warm spice essential oils.
Rejuvenating Serum was created for the days when you want your skin to feel nourished and your skincare ritual to bring a little more life back into the room.
Hemp, squalane, meadowfoam, jojoba, apricot, argan and camellia oils create a concentrated botanical base that softens and conditions the skin while helping replenish its moisture barrier. A few drops spread easily across the face and leave the skin supple and silky rather than heavy or greasy.
The aromatic blend is intentionally more present than it is in Tender Skin. Sandalwood brings warmth and depth, sweet orange brings brightness, while vanilla, ylang ylang, balsam and cardamom round the scent into something warm, softly floral and gently spiced.
I wanted this serum to feel like a small shift in atmosphere. Not perfume for the sake of perfume, but a scent you begin to recognize as part of taking a few minutes for yourself. On days when motherhood, work or simply life has pulled your attention everywhere else, the ritual offers something familiar to return to.
This is part of the neurosomatic thinking behind Royal Heir skincare. Texture, touch and scent are considered together. With repetition, the warm citrus and sandalwood aroma can become an aromatic anchor connected to a feeling of renewal, pleasure and returning to yourself.
Made fresh in small batches and formulated by a former nurse and certified aromatherapist.
More about this formula
- THE DETAILS
The name describes both the way the serum leaves the skin feeling and the character of the ritual. Its concentrated botanical oils soften and nourish dry, tired-looking skin, while the aromatic blend brings warmth, brightness and a little more sensory presence to the experience. Rejuvenating is the serum I reach for when I want skincare to feel enlivening rather than quiet. A few drops, the familiar touch of your hands and the warm citrus, sandalwood and spice create a small shift in atmosphere.
Tender Skin keeps the sensory experience very quiet. It is fragrance-free and essential-oil-free, created for sensitive or easily reactive skin and for times when added scent feels like too much. Rejuvenating is intentionally aromatic. Sandalwood, sweet orange, vanilla, ylang ylang, balsam and cardamom create a warmer, brighter sensory experience. Both are concentrated facial serums. The difference is not only what your skin needs, but what kind of experience you want from the ritual.
The velvet pouch creates the first sensory moment of the ritual. Before you smell the essential oils or feel the serum on your skin, your hands meet the soft fabric. Reaching into the pouch and taking out the bottle creates a small transition from whatever you were doing before. Then come the other layers: the bottle in your hand, the silky serum across the skin, the touch of your fingers and finally the warm aroma as it rises. With repetition, that sequence becomes familiar. The pouch is not simply packaging. It is part of how the ritual begins.
